OUR STAFF![]() DAVE DESISTOI'm the owner of DeSisto Strength Training in San Francisco; I'm glad you have found my web site, and I hope it has been an interesting and informative visit. Let me tell you a little about myself so we may become better acquainted... I've been helping hundreds of clients achieve their health and fitness goals for almost 15 years in the North Bay. In 1992, I received my Bachelor of Science in Journalism, but soon realized that I was destined to a life of helping people reach true well-being and health. I had found my true passion. As a personal trainer, I was certified by the American Council on Exercise (ACE), but found that there was much more to learn beyond this level of training. My colleagues and I decided to seek out a more scientific, effective and safer approach to building strong, healthy bodies. Consequently, our group of trainers was among the first to learn and provide a true SuperSlow® exercise environment in California. I firmly believe that DeSisto Strength Training offers the most effective strength training program available in San Francisco, a city that I love. I want to assist my clients to adopt a lifestyle that promotes health and well-being through a sensible diet and proper, safe and effective exercise. Please contact me -- I would like to talk with you and answer any questions you may have. I hope you will accept my offer of a complimentary orientation and workout at my studio. You will see for yourself how 20 minutes of exercise 1 to 2 times per week
![]() CINDY ANDERSONSeveral years ago, I became interested in my physical well-being and health. At that time, I was over-fat and in poor physical condition. So, I set a goal to become a healthy individual, and by improving my exercise habits and through changes in my diet, I lost 50 pounds! During that time, I developed an intense passion for strength training. I experienced many positive changes within, both physically and mentally. I am living proof that strength training can change your life!
As it was when I decided to get myself healthy, it is my objective as a personal trainer to educate and assist people like you to achieve YOUR goals in a manner that is safe and effective. My goal continues in an endeavor to help people improve their quality of life. I look forward to talking and meeting with you to discuss the benefits of No Momentum training. ![]() PETE KINKEADAs a former marathoner, competetive ski racer, teaching tennis professional, and all-around sports junkie, I have long had an astute awareness of how the condition of our bodies impacts our mental and physical well-being and overall quality of life. It is my belief that health, meaningful relationships, personal passions, and a healthy planet are all requirements for true happiness, and we each have a right to them! For this reason, I take a holistic approach to training and encourage my clients to apply similar principles to all aspects of their lives -- in other words, to embrace a way of life that is positive, passionate, and purposeful. I recently retired from my career as corporate executive to utilize my gifts for helping others, and sought a vehicle that would enhance my own life through meaningful work and personal relationships. At the same time, I was looking to regain the physical fitness that I had in my younger years. The training regimen that I found, and which we teach at DeSisto Strength Training, was the answer. It is safe, uncomplicated, intuitive, and produces profound results.
